Sanborn Canoe Paddles Sam Special made in USA
The Sam's Special paddle is named after a friend who loaned gear to start the Sanborn Canoe business. It's a real paddle, powerful, developed in details like its "beaver tail" shape which gives a lot of power in the water. The walnut blade is reinforced on the edge with a small strip of fiberglass to harden the wood in case of contact with rock.
The handle is varnished, revealing the different layers of wood. The handle is not varnished for a more pleasant contact with the hand and this absence of treatment also avoids blisters.
Even though your "Sam's Special" will never come in contact with water, it's a wonderful decorative piece that you can hang vertically (one bracket) or horizontally (two brackets) on the walls of your "home sweet home". ".
