Started in the summer of 2010 as a collective of designers and ceramicists who banded together to fill the void of hearty handmade growlers in a city of brewers. Portland Growler Company designs products that are proudly manufactured in Portland, OR by Mudshark Studios. These jugs are slip cast, then carefully trimmed, and made to order at their NE Portland studio. Even the clay is made locally!
Designed and manufactured in Portland, OR these growlers are slip cast by hand with the necks carefully trimmed on the potters’ wheel for the tightest of lid fit. They’re cast thick to hold in the cold for all of your 64 ounces. The wide mouth ceramic flip top lid with rubber gasket will seal carbonation keeping your liquids, whatever they may be, cold and crisp for days. Small batches of growlers are made weekly so please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery. The growler is 11" x 5.75" and weighs 4.5 lbs.
