Description

The NA PALI COAST bandana, a unique creation by Bandits Bandanas, captures the wild and vibrant essence of the Hawaiian coastline. This iconic design, born from an unforgettable trip, combines a striking design with exceptional quality, resulting in an accessory that is both stylish and durable.

A design inspired by an unforgettable journey

In 2022, Lisa McCormick, the artist behind this design, discovered Hawaii for the first time. Her exploration of the famous Na Pali Coast on the island of Kauai marked a turning point in her inspiration. As she recounts: “At that moment, everything came to life. The colors were incredibly vibrant: the lush vegetation, the blue waves crashing against the rocks, and the multicolored flowers all around us. I was speechless.”

This bandana is an ode to this unique landscape. The tropical pattern, inspired by travel posters, blends shades of orange, pink, and pastels, evoking a Hawaiian sunset. Framed by hibiscus flowers, ferns, and palm leaves, it instantly transports you to one of the most beautiful panoramas on the planet. Whether you are traveling to Hawaii or dreaming of going there, this bandana is your passport to escape.

About the artist, Lisa McCormick

An illustrator, graphic designer, and entrepreneur based in Chicago, Lisa McCormick draws her inspiration from “moments of joy and surprise.” Her style, influenced by Impressionists, Fauvists, and 1960s designers like Milton Glaser and John Alcorn, is characterized by its vibrant colors and unique graphic approach.

Since childhood, when she was already drawing dogs and horses at the age of four, Lisa has continuously honed her artistic skills. After studying graphic design and training in oil painting, she has collaborated with prestigious brands such as Patagonia, Adobe, and Carhartt. “I am truly grateful to be able to make a living doing what I love,” she says. “I’ve been fortunate to work with some amazing brands and people, and I hope to continue bringing a little joy and color into the world.”

Premium quality for everyday wear

Made from 100% premium cotton, this bandana is designed to last. The fabric is soft, breathable, and durable, making it perfect for all your adventures, whether urban or nomadic. Thanks to its meticulous finishing and reinforced rolled edges, it retains its shape and color wash after wash.

Versatile, it can be worn as a scarf, a headband, or even as a decorative accessory, adding a touch of exotic flair to your everyday style.

Like all BANDITS BANDANAS® bandanas, 10% of the profits from this design will be donated to Love One International. This charity, chosen by the artist, aims to improve the lives of children and families in Uganda by providing vital medical care and preserving family unity.

BANDIT BANDANA

At the origin of the Bandits brand, a Californian couple, Nicole and Connors, who decided in 2017 to quit their bureaucratic job to travel around the world. In their many motorcycle trips they understood that a good bandana was essential but that it was very difficult to find good quality, soft and with satisfactory patterns.
The idea of Bandits bandanas was born. After extensive research, they settled on 100% organic and fair trade cotton woven in Kolkata. Nicole, who had expertise in artistic activities, naturally turned to artists for the design of their bandanas. Today, the brand pays artists and 10% of the profits are donated to charities chosen by the artist who created the bandana pattern.
As you can see, these bandanas are more expensive than our traditional models, but the originality of their design, the quality and the softness of their weaving place them on a more exceptional register. The models are mostly produced in limited series.
